Karl Lewis, MD is an Assistant Professor, Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine (UCD) and is the Associate Director of the Melanoma Research Clinics at UCD. His clinical interests include the treatment of malignant melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Southwest Oncology Group, and Society for Melanoma Research.

Lois J. Loescher, PhD, RN is an Associate Professor, College of Nursing and Associate Professor, Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona. She is a founding member of the Skin Cancer Institute at the Arizona Cancer Center and serves on the executive board. She has been an oncology nurse for many years and is a long-standing member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Society of Preventive Oncology. Currently, she conducts behavioral science research at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and Medical Center, primarily in the area of skin cancer. In addition, she conducts international skin cancer research in Queensland, Australia. Her clinical focus is in using technology as an intervention to educate high risk groups on skin cancer detection and prevention and to educate healthcare providers about skin cancer detection.
